(duly edited making way for some more ideas)
‘Kitne Ajeeb Rishtey Hain Yahaan Pe’
Heard of this track?
Enjoy it now….
Seen Amitabh Bachchan play 'Eklavya' a couple of years back…
Now Abhishek Bachchan plays 'Dhrona' …
Did we hear, The Child is the father (teacher) of the Man? Filmdom goes to prove it… :)
Shah Rukh Khan enjoyed Pardes a few years ago,
next he was seen in Swades...
Guess, he was still confused where his big bucks lay…
So he took the third way out… how about a ‘Prades’ (Paschim Bangal???)
And bingo!!! He earns the maximum out of his Knight Riders!!!
Salman Khan’s movie ‘Dus’ never got completed…
So, he settles for the small screen…
The same-name ‘game’, you see…
Aamir (the great!) Khan would involve himself in no Filmi Chakkars,
... only Takkars.
Ram Gopal Verma forgot about the “Raj” element in his movie Sarkar…
Politics mein “Raj” kaun banega...oops... karega???
So a sequel by the name of Sarkar Raj…(naam mein wajan hai)
Politics ke saath panga nahi leneka, right RGV?
Will keep adding more... :)
You guys can add on... Think of any...?

i know this is about films, but if we consider the K-serials, we can definitely add a few more names to the list in ur blog.
hey thx MJ,
u seem to an ardent follower of Akki's films :)
Thx Mayu,
I think K-series would only make my post (more) boring... :)
K-series would dance to the tunes of 'I am my own grandpa'!!!
Mithun in "Pyaari Behna" and "Maa Kasam"
Mithun in "Pyaar Ka Devta" and "Gunaho ka Devta"
Mithun in "Krishan Avtaar", "Ravan Raaj", "Yamraaj" and "Bhishma"
Mithun in "Cheetah" and "Bengal Tiger"
:)
nice post aarti..you seem to done a bit of R & D to write this ;-))
At this point,I can only think of SRK being "Rahul" in every other film ;)
- Maya
And oh, ever noticed how Hrithik's name starts with A with every action flick, and with R in a romantic one?
KNPH - rohit & raj chopra
Fiza - Amaan
Mission Kashmir - Altaf
Yaadein Ronit Malhotra
Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham - Rohan Raichand
Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage - Rohit
Na Tum Jaano Na Hum - Rahul Sharma
Mujhse Dosti Karoge - Raj Malhotra

Hi Pushkar,
lol... nice one
Kya baat hai! Mithun fan???
hey MJ,
thx for that database on Hrithik on my post :)
Awesome....
Btw, A and R are my initials too... ;)
Very nice concept. loved the correlation. But what truly takes the cake are the comments by Malika. What an exhaustive list in a superb order!!! That comment should be on the post (it'll get you more eyeballs.) :>)
Here are a few that I could muster...
Amitabh Bachchan in "Black" & "Aankhein".
Akshay Kumar in "Waqt" and "Bhaagam Bhaag".
Aamir Khan in "Jo jeeta wohi sikandar" and "Ghulam".
Bobby deol in "Dosti" and Sunny Deol in "Dushmani".
Manisha Koirala in "Company" and "Akele Hum Akele Tum".
Anil Kapoor in "Welcome" and "No Entry".
Salman and Madhuri in "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" and "Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam".
Thanks aditya...
Your comment is hilarious!!
Esp. Anil Kapoor in Welcome and No Entry .. lol =))
LOL
There sure has been some serious research here....
One that I can think about..
Salman Khan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam had cried hoarse to get the climax in his favour. Ash failed to cross the 'saat kadam ki doorie in the movie'. And then, along came Vivieieieik Oberoi (no numerology can help this soul in acting) with all his Dum and whisked away Ash.
Soon Salman was working on that unforgettable movie...err...which was that...? Ah - 'Lucky - No Time for love' (ofcourse the audience never had time to watch it either).
Sneha Ullal the leading lady and damsel in distress turned out to be an Ash clone - something is better than nothin, eh?
What does this have to do with the original post? NOTHING. Couldnt come up with anything else...in the meantime...still thinking :)
hey Vinay,
now it seems there is a look-alike of Sallu's latest Muse, Katrina Kaif too.
Since, Katrina is too busy with Akki these days, looks like Sallu'll need the look-alike for his films. (In any case, she is going to be a better actress)
One more news:
Sallu and Abhishek are bonding just too well. Aish bhabhi is very happy.
(So, that's apna Drona's promotional stunt to get entry into Dus Ka Dum? Or what?)
hey Nice work ya...
guess you have really done a lot of bollywood research for this...
no time for research... bollywood just runs in my blood :)
In Bobby Deol's film career, "Baadal" came after "Barsaat".
